Character:
Tons of live work, mostly with kids’ programs, stage productions, puppet shows, that sort of thing. It’s where I built my varied voice chops and what would become my character stable. I’m absolutely excited to move into animation and games! Visit the Demo Page for samples.
What is the “Perfect Voice?” I’m not sure I have ever found that. But I have seen success using my voice effectively for many years. I keep working to improve my craft, and who knows? I imagine I’ll be chasing perfection until the day the Lord brings me home. The main point has always been putting forward a “memorable message,” more than advancing a “memorable voice.” Like the A/V Team at any event – the audience doesn’t even notice them when they do their job well. It’s the same with Voice. It really is amazing what you can accomplish if you don’t care who gets credit. That’s the heart of Voice Over.
